Chicken chain Huey Magoo's will open 10 San Antonio restaurants
The chain that bills itself as "the filet mignon of chicken" will open 10 locations in San Antonio as part of a major expansion. Central Florida-based Huey Magoo's plans to set up 42 new franchise locations in Texas, Arizona and Virginia, CEO Andy Howard revealed this week. The push will take the fast-casual brand into a total of 15 states and give it 250 additional stores.

San Antonio music legend George Strait will receive the Country Music Awards' Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award during the group's annual ceremony in Nashville next week. San Antonio's 'AK-Guy' now wants to be Trump's ATF director
As if the administration forming around Donald Trump wasn't bizarre enough, gun-loving YouTuber and failed congressional candidate Brandon Herrera wants to lead its Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Herrera, a San Antonio resident known online as the “AK-Guy,” this week fired off a tweet to promote himself as a possible pick to lead the agency. “The ATF hasn’t had a director that actually understands the firearms industry or been a part of the community it’s responsible for regulating since its founding,” Herrera tweeted Monday.
