Texas measles outbreak jumps to 2 new counties, both nearly 300 miles from epicenter
The number of people infected in Texas' rapidly worsening measles outbreak has grown to 422, including cases reported in two new counties, both nearly 300 miles from the spread's epicenter, state health officials said Tuesday. The state's worst measles outbreak in three decades now spans 19 counties, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. To date, it's hospitalized 42 people.
