Texans' favorite holiday cocktail doesn't fall far from the Christmas tree, study finds
As much as Texans like to tout themselves as mavericks and iconoclasts, they're certainly not blazing any new trails when it comes to holiday cocktails, a new study found. Indeed, Texas is one of a dozen states where spiked eggnog is the most popular Christmas cocktail, according to an analysis published by bartending and beverage-industry site Drinksworld. The closest tipple in popularity nationwide is hot buttered rum, which is the most-enjoyed yuletide drink in 10 states.
