San Antonio visual artist Donald Moffett to receive Texas Medal of Arts
San Antonio-born visual artist Donald Moffett is among those being honored with the 2025 Texas Medal of Arts Award. The nonprofit Texas Cultural Trust presents the awards every other year to Lone Star State creatives whose work has "profoundly influenced Texas and beyond." This year's honorees also include actor Dennis Quaid, filmmaker Richard Linklater, musician Gary Clark Jr. and arts patron Mercedes Bass. The awards will be presented Feb. 25-26 at a ceremony in Austin.
