San Antonio ISD students organize walkout to protest threat of ICE raids in schools
San Antonio ISD students are organizing a walkout to protest the threat of Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE) raids in schools, the Trump White House's effort to end birthright citizenship and other issues. Students at the district will walk out of classes at 12:55 p.m. this Wednesday and make their way to Yanaguana Garden to meet up with students from other schools, as well as community members. Demonstrators then will gather for a peaceful protest outside San Antonio City Hall at 3 p.m.
