San Antonio-based USAA said internal glitch exposed 32,000 members' data

San Antonio-based financial-services and insurance giant USAA said it exposed more than 32,000 of its members to a data breach when it accidentally shared their personal information with another member's account. In an email sent to affected members and first reported on by the Express-News, USAA said it had no evidence that fraud or identity theft occurred as a result of the glitch. Even so, the company reached out to members so they could take steps to better secure their personal information.
