Popovich health concern 'serious,' needed medical attention before Saturday game
San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich's recent "health situation" is more serious than the team may have initially led on, according to ESPN sports reporter Shams Charania. During Tuesday's episode of ESPN's NBA Today TV show, Charania said sources informed him that Popovich's health issue is a great concern for the team and the 75-year-old coach himself. "I'm told that it was a health issue, and it was a serious health issue that Popovich dealt with over the weekend," Charania said.
