No, Waffle House isn't coming to San Antonio
Rumors swirled earlier this week after someone posted an online image allegedly showing a new commercial development in San Antonio with an exciting inclusion for fans of scattered, smothered and covered hash browns — the city's first Waffle House. The image, shared Monday in the San Antonio Restaurants Facebook group, set off a whirlwind of excitement and speculation about the Norcross, Georgia-based chain finally making its way to the Alamo City. There's only one problem: the image is a fake.
