San Antonio's tourism-promotion group is coughing up $270,000 for the coveted Michelin Guide to include Alamo City restaurants in its annual rankings. Last month, French tire company Michelin — publisher of one of the world's most-esteemed series of restaurant and hotel guidebooks — announced it will release its first-ever Michelin Guide Texas.
