Two San Antonio hotels named among nation's most haunted
San Antonio's Menger and Hilton-owned Emily Morgan hotels again ranked among the nation's 25 most haunted, according to a recent Halloween-themed report from the Historic Hotels of America trust. Located on the hallowed grounds of the Alamo, the Menger is reportedly haunted by the ghosts of a chambermaid, U.S. President Teddy Roosevelt and King Ranch founder Captain Richard King, the report maintains. Its notorious spirits also include Sallie White, a former chambermaid who was brutally murdered by her husband.
