Texas music legend George Strait to receive CMA's Lifetime Achievement Award
San Antonio music legend George Strait will receive the Country Music Awards' Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award during the group's annual ceremony in Nashville next week. One of the highest honors in country music, the award recognizes those who have “attained the highest degree of recognition” in the genre, according to the CMA website. Few would argue that Strait has done just that.
