Texas institutions Whataburger and Academy Sports + Outdoors team up for third fashion collection
It takes two to tailgate. San Antonio drive-thru institution Whataburger and Katy-based retailer Academy Sports + Outdoors have jointly launched a new tailgate collection tailored to Texas tastes. The third such collaboration between the two Lone Star State business empires, the new line includes football-themed apparel such as jerseys, tailgate hats and even a Whataburger beanie with “Meat Sweats” proudly emblazoned on the side.
