Texas State University found itself on the receiving end of a social media skewering this week after the school bragged in a tweet that its football team had a cumulative GPA of 2.84 — the highest fall GPA in team history. “Winning in the classroom and off the field!” Texas State Football’s official X account wrote in the Jan. 6 post.
