Spurs will face stacked Celtics in New Year's Eve matchup in San Antonio

After adding All-Stars Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis to their roster over the summer via trade, the reloaded Boston Celtics currently stand atop the Eastern Conference standings. Former Spur Derrick White has excelled as a starter for the Celtics this season and was serenaded with MVP chants following a 30-point performance earlier this month that culminated in a win against the New York Knicks. White was named to the NBA’s All-Defensive Second Team last season and has played a key role for the second-best defense in the league.
