Six of seven San Antonio officers injured in overnight ambush discharged from hospital

Six of the seven San Antonio police officers shot Wednesday night while responding to a call at a Stone Oak apartment complex are heading home from the hospital, according to a Facebook post from SAPD officials. Although still in the hospital, the remaining injured officer, who hasn't been publicly identified, is also expected to make a full recovery, the department said in its Thursday afternoon post. “We are reminded of the sacrifice our officers make every day and night to keep our community safe,” SAPD said in its statement.
