San Antonio police officer arrested on allegations that he assaulted his wife
Bexar County deputies on Thursday arrested a 24-year veteran of the San Antonio Police Department over allegations that he assaulted his wife. Officer Ruben Vasquez, 53, now faces charges of assault bodily injury-family for an incident that took place Wednesday at his home, SAPD officials said. Vasquez is on administrative duty while the department conducts an investigation, authorities said.
