San Antonio has some of Texas' most congested highways, according to TxDOT
San Antonio has some of the state's most backed-up blacktop, according to a yearend study by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Texas A&M Transportation Institute. The list compiles the 100 most-congested highway segments in Texas for 2024, and the SA area makes a total of 16 appearances. The highway segment that tops the list for San Antonio is I-35 from Loop 1604 to I-410.
