San Antonio couple charged in deadly dog attack get 15-, 18-year prison sentences
The San Antonio couple charged in the grisly dog attack that killed elderly Air Force veteran Ramon Najera Jr. last year received a combined 33 years in prison during the sentencing portion of their trial. State District Judge Velia Meza handed owner Christian Alexander Moreno an 18-year sentence, while his wife, Abilene Schnieder, got 15 years. Each was also ordered to pay a $5,000 fine.
