San Antonio cantina Sanchos opens sister snack shop Casa Chica
The owners of north-of-downtown food and nightlife spot Sanchos Cocina y Cantina have launched a sister snack spot called Casa Chica right next door. The new business will serve ice cream, corn in a cup, pickles, chips, soft drinks and other snacks, according to details shared Thursday by Sanchos in a Facebook post. Sanchos, located at 628 Jackson St., attracts customers just as much for its calabaza y elote nachos as its cold beer and intimate but lively performances by local musical acts.
