San Antonio Zoo launches savanna safari tours

The San Antonio Zoo on Friday launched Conserfari Tours — an immersive African safari-style experience where visitors can get up close and personal with African mammals from the comfort of a Toyota pickup truck. The tours mimic those found at attractions such as Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. In the zoo's case, visitors will see wildlife and feed giraffes, zebras and other animals found at its largest exhibit, the Naylor Savanna.
