San Antonio Spurs fans should expect wins this season, Popovich says

During the Spurs' media day on Monday, Coach Gregg Popovich said fans can expect the team to pick up more wins for the 2023-2024 season than it did during the previous one. Even so, the Hall of Fame coach stopped short of calling the franchise a championship contender, even with the addition of No. 1 draft pick Victor Wembanyama. "Development is great, and all these guys needed it," Popovich said of last year's season.
