San Antonio Marathon aims to become Boston Marathon Qualifier

Over the weekend, the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon crossed the finish line with its final Alamo City race. Now, the city is moving ahead with plans for the inaugural San Antonio Marathon, which will bring new routes and a new ambition: becoming a proving ground for Boston Marathon hopefuls. Josh Furlow, the San Antonio Marathon's founder, told FOX San Antonio that the new routes will distinguish the city-organized event from the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon and position it to become a Boston Qualifier.
