San Antonio ISD responds to threat of ICE raids with email pledging support, offering resources

San Antonio ISD officials sent an email Thursday responding to parents' fears about President Donald Trump's executive orders targeting immigrants and the LGBTQ+ community. The email obtained by the Current went out to SAISD students' parents, expressing support and solidarity. It was signed by SAISD Board President Christina Martinez and Superintendent of Schools Jaime R. Aquino.
