San Antonio's widely praised San Taco restaurant will close at year's end
San Taco, a two-year-old restaurant that's earned rave reviews for its flavorful Mexican guisados, will close its doors Dec. 31, the Express-News reports. Married chef-owners Charlie Gonzalez and Gaby Hinojosa are shuttering the spot to focus on their other Mexican restaurant, Panfila Cantina, along with Italian eatery Tutto Pepe, according to the daily. They're also expecting their first child.
