San Antonio's Wicked Wich serving up sandwich in giant pickle instead of bread
Independently owned sandwich shop The Wicked Wich has released a new special that's sure to please keto dieters as well as those with a puckery proclivity for pickles. "For this week's special we're using a crisp, JUICY kosher dill pickle as a vessel for our freshly sliced deli meat & cheese of your choice!" the San Antonio business stated in the caption for its pickle sando's announcement video. Although San Antonio diners have been known to go big for intensely sour flavors — Lucas and chamoy, anyone?
