San Antonio's 'Spurs Lady' laid to rest in team-themed casket
San Antonio Spurs super-fan Sovia Lauriano, better known as “The Spurs Lady,” got her dying wish this week. Lauriano, who was known around town for her eccentric Spurs-themed outfits and unwavering support for the Silver and Black, died at 71 last month after suffering a major heart attack. During a 2022 interview with the Express-News, Lauriano said that when she died she wanted her body to be ferried in the back of her Spurs-autographed white pickup with silver and black flags flying overhead.
