Report contradicts San Antonio ISD's claim school closures will improve learning
San Antonio Independent School District's Board of Trustees voted Nov. 13 to close 15 schools and merge others, despite an independent audit that said doing so would yield worse grades, poor attendance and lower test scores. The board's 5-2 decision has prompted concern by parents, especially since the board members only had 72 hours to read the audit.
