Report: Texas troopers separating migrant families at border

In a move evocative of a widely decried Trump administration policy, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers are separating migrant families at the southern border, according to a Hearst Newspapers investigation. DPS officials have separated some two dozen families in recent weeks, arresting fathers on trespassing charges and holding them in state custody while transferring their spouses and kids into federal government custody, according to story.
