Owner of San Antonio's The Hayden clarifies that North Side diner isn't in danger of immediate closure

San Antonio diner chain The Hayden last week sent out a customer newsletter urging diners to visit its location in the North Side's Alon Market, adding that the store has struggled with low sales in recent months. However, in a statement emailed to the Current on Monday, owner Adam Lampinstein said he didn't want to give the impression the restaurant, which launched in early 2023, is in imminent danger of closure. Both the Hayden's Alon location, 10003 N.W. Military Highway, Suite #2115, and its original outpost, 4025 Broadway, are still operational, according to Lampinstein.
