New San Antonio Italian restaurant Mare e Monte holding grand opening on Monday
New Italian restaurant Mare e Monte hasn't officially trumpeted its launch, but it's already built quite a buzz. After holding a soft opening in April and building up word-of-mouth support, the Medical Center eatery will hold a grand opening on Monday, Nov. 25, according to its owners. Despite the relatively low profile of Mare e Monte, located at 9390 Huebner Road, reviews have been pouring in on Facebook group San Antonio Restaurants, and many heap glowing praise on the dining spot.
