More than 765,000 older Texans are struggling to cover housing costs

Editor's note: A previous version of this story included the incorrect number of older Texans who pay more than 30% of their income on housing costs. There are 765,921 cost-burdened older Texans, not 1.1 million. Harvard University’s Joint Center of Housing Studies provided the incorrect figure and said it discovered the error after this story was initially published.
