McNay Art Museum holding free family celebration this Thursday
The McNay Art Museum, named for founder Marion Koogler McNay, was the first modern art museum established in Texas. Since Koogler McNay’s death, the museum’s holdings have grown from her personal collection of some 700 pieces to more than 22,000, representing anything from antiquities through present day contemporary art.
