La Madeleine on San Antonio's Broadway corridor has closed
San Antonio's oldest la Madeleine location, a Broadway corridor fixture launched in 1992, has ceased operation. A representative of the French-style cafe and bakery chain confirmed the closure during a Thursday morning visit by the Current to the restaurant at 4820 Broadway. Work crews were busy removing furniture from the nearly empty location.
