It only took Jack White a few minutes to sell out San Antonio's Paper Tiger
It took just a matter of minutes Tuesday for the surprise Jack White show announced the day before for San Antonio's Paper Tiger to completely sell out. Perhaps that should be little surprise given that White — a key part of The White Stripes, Raconteurs and Dead Weather — is arena- or at least large theater-level famous and the Paper Tiger's main room has a capacity of 1,000. Fans joined the Paper Tiger's ticket queue when it opened at 1 p.m., and the site frequently crashed, experienced long load times and needed to be refreshed.
