Icy roads, school closures: Everything San Antonio residents should know about this week's winter storm
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for South and Central Texas, including San Antonio, Monday evening through Tuesday as frigid temperatures and snow grip the area over the next few days. In response to the winter weather, several San Antonio area school districts and universities have canceled classes. Meanwhile, the City of San Antonio plans to open several overnight homeless shelters for unhoused residents as temperatures drop below freezing.
