Former San Antonio-area cop charged with felony continuous family violence
Authorities have arrested a former Somerset Police Department detective after the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office accused him of assaulting a woman and threatening her if she told police, KSAT reports. Alvaro Ramirez III, 37, was taken to jail Wednesday morning on charges of felony continuous family violence and misdemeanor terroristic threat of a family member, the TV station reports, citing jail records.
