Nine years after his retirement, San Antonio Spurs legend Tim Duncan remains the enduring symbol of what it means to wear the Silver and Black. Although Spurs fans watched Duncan dominate on the basketball court for 19 seasons and five NBA championships, off the court he remained an enigma to many — quiet, reserved and content to let his game speak for itself.
