Co-founders of San Antonio’s The Newstand to debut The Dispatch, a new cafe north of downtown
Six months after dreaming up a coffee shop concept on a date night, Page Pressley and Dez Rodriguez turned their vision into reality by opening Broadway's The Newsstand last summer. Now, the couple is expanding its portfolio with The Dispatch, a second coffee concept scheduled to open in the lobby of the the McCombs Plaza building, 755 E. Mulberry Ave. The Current was unable to confirm a grand opening date as of press time. The Dispatch will stay true to the original shop's community-driven ambience and also incorporate its news-driven theme, according to a statement from the owners.
