California's Barrio Dogg chain closes its San Antonio location

San Diego-based hotdog chain Barrio Dogg has shuttered its San Antonio location after less than a year in business. Barrio Dogg's owners revealed the closure Sunday on the restaurant's Instagram page. The Southtown eatery, which launched last March, featured an array of fully loaded artisanal Mexican-style hot dogs. It paid homage to Chicano art and lowrider car culture in its interior decor.
