Atlanta-based Smalls Sliders is making good on a promised Texas expansion by opening its first San Antonio restaurant this fall. A local franchisee for the burger brand expects to start construction later this spring on a store at 2453 W. Loop 1604 South, state construction records show. The Marbach Road-area eatery is scheduled for October completion and will cost $750,000 to build, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
