Analysis: San Antonio ordinance holding contractors accountable for delays welcome, if overdue
Amid the drama over Moses Rose's Hideout at the Jan. 26 city council meeting, it might have been easy to miss the adoption of an ordinance that would bar city contractors from future work if they can't deliver on budget or on time. The ordinance, introduced by District 6 Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda, was unanimously approved by council. Little surprise there.
