Alamo Colleges chancellor wins national Hispanic education award
The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) has presented Alamo Colleges District Chancellor Mike Flores with its President's Award in recognition of his efforts to drive enrollment by Latinx students. Flores was recognized Nov. 1 at HACU's 38th annual conference in Aurora, Colorado, according to officials with the organization. "As Chancellor, Dr. Flores has been a driving force behind initiatives to break down barriers for students in higher education," Alamo College officials stated.
