'Mischka' Timofeyev, beloved owner of San Antonio's Web House Café, has died
Mikhail "Mischka" Timofeyev — the owner of Beacon Hill fixture Web House Café and Bar — has died, according to a Wednesday-morning social media post from the business. "It is with a very heavy heart I post to let you know that Mischka, the love of my life for 24 years, and legally my husband since March 18, 2016 (my birthday), has gone to meet his maker this morning," reads the post from Timofeyev's spouse, Manny Castaneda. As of press time, the post had drawn dozens of well wishes from regulars and neighbors remembering Timofeyev for his conviviality, cooking skills and friendship.
